Founder and Managing Partner
PhD in Chemistry from University of Oxford

Aman is a healthcare visionary, an idea machine and a sharp-executer. In his professional career spanning over 8 years, he has had diverse working experience from academia, to mid-cap biotech to public-private research organization funded by all major Pharma companies and numerous healthcare based startups.

Kazumi Yokazaki, PhD, MBA

Ventures Head

Kazumi brings with her more than 2 decades of experience in healthcare strategy, management and investment. In her previous roles as head of strategy at Softbank, she was instrumental in closing deals up to $10B USD. As a former Principal at McKinsey and Co. Kazumi spearheaded various major pharmaceutical M&As.

Sharon Malik

Sharon Malik, MBA

Ventures Head

Sharon brings with her a decade of experience in commercializing academic science and technology. Her previous stints at Stanford University and Harvard University’s Office for Technology Development provided with her with all the experience from evaluating IP to negotiating out-licensing contracts with multinational health and technology focused corporates.

Deborah Donovan, BA (Finance and Biology)

Concept Creation and Due Diligence

Deborah (Debby) works closely with Aman in concept evaluation besides heading due diligence at IQGEN supported by firm’s own diligence pattern-based analytics tool Ava. Debby has a double BA from Stanford University in Finance and Biology and is pursuing a special executive education course at MIT in Artificial Intelligence, game theory and healthcare. As an intern at Space-X, Debby was instrumental in leading the Voyage team’s successful launch of the first rocket.

Shawna Peters

Shawna Peters, MSc (Statistics, Biology and Artificial Intelligence)

Deal Analytics and Intelligent Systems

Shawna has built a powerful deal analytics algorithm for IQGEN. The algorithm allows Shawna to evaluate a company’s technology proposition with the global benchmarks of a particular sub-sector in an industry and rank them based on an internal grading scale. This allows Shawna to quickly identify which deals to take forward for potential investment

Ajmal Hassan Sheikh, MBA, LLB

Investor Relations and Legal Counsel

Ajmal heads fundraising, investor relations at IQGEN besides acting as an interim-Legal Counsel as well. Ajmal has an MBA from University of Pennsylvania (Wharton School) and an LLB from Cambridge University, UK. Ajmal has managed wealth for many high profile HNIs and has raised more than $5B USD in capital for various micro and macro institutional and venture groups.
